## Human-in-the-loop permission controls
Every tool has an Allow / Ask / Deny stance per specialist. Risky
actions pause for approval in the channel your team already uses.

## How it works
Lifter uses the Model Context Protocol (https://modelcontextprotocol.io),
an open standard that gives AI agents secure, structured access to
external tools and data. Every integration is a native MCP connector —
not a fragile webhook or custom script.

## Any vendor with an API becomes a tool
Three ways to add connectors:
- A) Standard plug-in (breadth). If a vendor offers a standard AI-tool
integration, we plug it in. Credentials and approval rules still flow
  through us.
- B) Native package (depth). Hand-tuned packages for platforms customers
live in: Shopify, Gorgias, Cin7, Dotapparel.
- C) Your own APIs (custom fit). Internal warehouse system? A customer-
specific endpoint? We lift it into the platform; the agent treats it
  like any other tool.

Days, not quarters — every connector follows the same standard pattern.
